the obvious secret

i have decided that the key to happiness, or at least contentment, is to do what you want to do when you want to do it. if you're hungry, eat. don't wait until the designated eating time. if you're tired, sleep. if you're excited, dance. if you want to talk to someone, talk to them. just do what you want to do without following guidelines or rules.
not that there shouldn't be rules to what you do. if everyone got to do whatever they liked, a lot of us would end up in pretty bad shape. what i mean is that you shouldn't do something simple because you feel obligated. do not be a slave to time.
time is unreal. time is something we made to organize ourselves. organization is not what is necessary to be happy. what is necessary to be happy is simply doing what you want to do. its ridiculously simple, but it works.

partly, but not completely. As animals, we crave respect. We need people to know we're the strongest, the best, the most attractive. The only actual point to our existance is to continue it, to breed. To be happy, we do what we want to do, but we get respect and are the best at it. That is he real happiness. Or at least what we think it is. In reality, as animals we need to work to get things. True happiness is having worked very hard, and achieved something. At least, that's hat I think. I don't know. I'm only 12.

well I think that for so many people that is so so true, but for others, as the wizardress has said, it's just doing what you want. But what she is describing is still actually really and truly doing what you want when you want. But i think there have to be guidelines, like going to school and such but for the eating, it's less of eating when you want to eat and more of not eating just because it's time to eat.

hmm, i half agree and half dont. i think that, yeah, way too many people let schedules and traditions get in the way of really living life to the fullest. but then, life can be too full. people have a hard time doing what they want and not hurting anyone else in the process. so some craziness and some stability... moderation, as in everything.

However, if you say "in everything" that would mean moderation in moderation!
