the human body

why are humans afraid of their own bodies? why do we wear clothes in the summer? its very silly. you would think human beings could get over superstitions from centuries ago. actually, i just read a really cool book of my dads called the nude in photograph. no, its not porn. its about nude photography and the body in general and why people are so afraid of it. it was very interesting. why ARE we afraid of our bodies? i mean, i get that they represent sexuality, but what if theres, like, a 13 year old strolling down the street naked? why is that wrong? are we all pedophilliac perverts, that we can't even see a 13 year olds body without raping them? what the hell is that about? none of these questions have easy answers, and i need to go to bed. goodbye!

well, i don't think it's very easy to reverse hundreds of years of thinking, which started from necessity(for warmth, for armor) especially if it's against the law to walk around naked in public.
But there is a girl I know of, I'm not personally friends with her, but have met her once. She's a thirteen year old with the body of a 15 0r 16 year old, living in the suburbs but next to a beach and in the summer she strips down and swims naked in the ocean, and doesnt care a wink what anyone thinks, see, or says. so there are people like you say, and I wish I could be someone like her, though I only skinny dip in the ocean or walk around naked when I'm at home, or some ocean at night. :)
